ABOUT US
Dan Sifuentes, the founder and executive director, has over 20-years of experience developing, implementing and administering educational improvement projects and community partnership initiatives in a school district and community setting. His life experiences associated with living, growing up and working in the organization's targeted service area, Montopolis, influenced the creation of Outside the Box Dropout Prevention.
HISTORY
Since 2013, an increased number of students, families and volunteers have discovered academic, social and personal success with Outside the Box Dropout Prevention, a charitable, IRS recognized, 501(c)(3) founded for the purpose of reducing Austin's dropout rate. Our mission is to expand the number of students from Montopolis graduating high school, pursuing college, equipped for Austin's high-tech job market.
